Pro tools, Mpc 5000 & Motif Xs8 Problem!! Please help

Aye Im runnin Pro Tools 7.4 with a Motif Xs8 and a MPC 5000. My problem is that I set the midi up exactly how its supposed to go but when I press play on Pro Tools the only the MPC will play an not the motif but if I hit play from the MPC the motif will play! What the hell!!! Can anybody explain to me whats going on cause I didn't experience this with the MPC 2500 or 2000 at all an they were hooked up the same way?

Which OS are you running... If its the old OS, i think the MIDI out was messed up on it or something... if its VS 2.0, we will probably need a lil bit more info from you(cause at the moment, i cant really tell)

Its the stock version 1.0 that came with it. I just got it brandnew out the box

If you have the CF card, upgrade to version 2!

yea bro... if not, go purchase a CF Card for a few bucks to at least load the new OS 2.0 from www.akaipro.com and that should fix your midi issue

Oh aight fasho imma try that out good lookin! I've been hearing that the 5000 has alot of issues is that true??
