MPCONFUSION?

SUp. I've never owned a sampler b4 but pretty soon im gona pick up an MPC, but i dont know wether to go for the 2500 or the 1000. The only difference that i spotted between the two, is that the 2500 has 8 outs and a flip up screen. The specs on the akai website are mostly identical. Surely this isnt the case? Can some1 fill me in on some real details between the two (editing, FX, midi) and ultimately which would be the better choice!?>

Also, wat is the jj operating system and how is it different from the default Akai OS?

No need to retread old ground, since both you guys are new here I suggest you familiarise yourselves with the concept of searching a few pages deep before starting new threads.

There is a forum for the 1000 and the 2500 with the Akai OS and with JJ OS.

Everything you want/ need to know has probably been posted already.
