Myspace Profile Creation

does anyone know anything about making one of those fancy myspace profiles? i have no issues designing the actual layout in photoshop but when it comes to converting it to code for myspace, i'm not exactly sure what to do. thanks for any help

how bout just go 2 coolchasers.com or pimp-my-profile? then copy and paste the code. i've never known anyone that writes out their own code.

i am retarded when it comes to this also.. i can't even change my default pic..

i'm talkin mainly about putting a big banner at the top of the page, like www.myspace.com/therealkoolgrap - that style, you see it on a lot of pages

i have wondered how to do this also. I have some friends with pages like this, but when i ask how to get mine like that, they say "i dont know, i paid someone to do it"

i do design for a living so i have no issues with making the actual banner, i just don't know the format that myspace uses for actually changing the code and all that

Myspace is a mish mash of old and new html standarts.

Some of the site elements, are controlled by tables and other using divs. The most commong technique to achieve those fancy "pro" sites id to do a DIV overlay layout for them. Which basicly means that you code a webpage to sit on top of the actual myspace site and make room for by showing elements out of the way or under it.

You will get by just with some decent control of HTML, or pay so(me)one to do it for you
