Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

How about trying this: when your cursor is on the filter/reson area, hit OPEN window and try to adjust the envelope on the filters. Then do the same on the basic ADSR inside PARAMS. Then again hit OPEN window and do the same on the VELOCITY/MODULATION part.

This way you can get some crazy results on your filtered sounds, from the basic SP 6ms attack down to crazy ass low pass takes.

This is the true power of the XL: the PARAMS screen and the STEP EDIT mode. 8)

I'm not embarresed to say I overlooked this as well. Even though I probably should be. I'm always used to pressing Open Window on things like Timing (to add swing), Sound (to coppy a sound), and Zone (to perfect my chops). Good looks on the info. It was right there in front of me. Tsss sucks for me.
