Promoting Overseas?

I'm from the U.S. and would like to sell and promote my music overseas(Japan, UK,..etc...) does anybody know how I would go about this?

Not trying to sound like a smart ass but its done the same way you promote in USA

Get to know the local UK/London sounds (Grime, Garage, etc.) and make some of that, same applies to Japan.
a) Suit (slightly shape) your product to suit UK and Japanese ears.
b) Learn you some Japanese, have a Japanese version of your page, etc.

Myspace, and net work your way around artist overseas.

collab with people via internet in the markets you want reach if you want

i already got kicked in the teeth by the forum for posting them(my own links/examples of what your asking about) for another person that asked so pm me and I can help ya work out a game plan on that.
