is it possible to run a 2,5" harddisk?

i 'd like to replace my 3,5" hd with a smaller, quieter 2,5" hd (of course with an adapter).
has anyone tried it?

I tried to use a CF (with IDE to CF converter) and it didn't work...

inside mpc 5000 is IDE HDD. If u have IDE adapter - i see no problem.

have you tried it?
i want to know before i buy a hd and a adapter.

if this realy works it would be great cause the 2,5" are way more stable and less noisier.

I was expressing my disgust with Nukai putting a old ass 3.5 HD in a 2008/09 MPC 5000.

I totally agree Less noise, less power. and less Heat.

The 2500/1000 has a 2.5 HD. I guess you really cant complain with a free HD tho.
