what model of mpc you have?.
-Extract slices to wav (NOT on mpc1000/2500) on non-destructive wav
-Extract groove (midi file) from a non-destructive wav(NOT on mpc1000/2500)

I have make this piece the software for this. (JJ did not listen my prayers).

for extrac the groove (midi file):
0.conect MPC to PC by USB
1.load a wav non-destructive chop
2.assign number of the bars /compases
3.Calc temp
4.assign number of the slices then you used on wav non-destructive chop.
5.save a midi file.
6.desconect the usb port
7.on MPC: load the midi file in a sequence
8.on MPC: in trim mode with the wav non-destrcutive chop. push the new PGM
10.listen de the sequence with PGM generated.

from recycle:
0.on recycle: load a normal wav, assign the bars and slices y export a midi file
1.conect MPC to PC by USB
2.copy a wav and midi file in your MPC
3.run JJChop y load the wav and midi file
4.save a JJwav.
5.desconet the usb port
6.on MPC: load the midi file in a sequence
7.on MPC: in trim mode with the wav non-destrcutive chop. push the new PGM
8.listen de the sequence with PGM generated.

JJchop is 10 times more useful than JJSequencer


if you'd create a program to handle OS2Xl's PGM-Files (create INST-Programs, better way to edit Velocity layers, export to other sampler formats etc.) I'd pay another 12 bucks

JJ keep the code under secret.

how did you get the code for the chops? isn't that secret too?
maybe we could somehow crack it?

I actually told JJ how to do the non-destructive chops. I probably still have the email response I got back thanking me for the documentation on WAV formats.

The goal would be to have the documentation about the new PGM format (Inst/Drum)

Thanks for the warning... you're only able to open the program like 3 times before it locks.

I was able to create a JJ-NDC-Wav file, by combining a normal WAV with a MIDI file I made in Recycle. I didn't get to try opening a JJ-NDC-WAV in JJChop. No crashes or anything, although it seemed like it would a few times.
