sliders cancelling each other out

Hi there. I'm rocking the 1000 (with the jjos 1). i have worked outo how to assign samples to the different layers and assign one qlink (say number 1) slider to layer to control this. the problem im having is that when number 2 slider is assigned to pitch i can no longer change the layer with slider 1. as soon as i turn of the function of slider 2, slider one works again to change the layer. I have tried swapping which slider each thing was assigned to. any ideas how i can make both work at oncee? peace al

if q link is set to "note on: tune" and the other "note on:layer" then the problem is because you can only use one piece of note on data per note. you could try "real time :pitch" but the result might not sound how you want it.
