8 Outputs for the 2000

i have the 2000. where and how much can i get the 8 out board for the mpc and a new lcd screen. the one i have have lines through it.
can both of these be installed by me? is it easy to do?

I have the same problem with my display. I called Akai-Service in Germany and they told me, that it`s about 200 Euro to fix the screen....
When you hear something about a place to get another dispaly, tell me.

Search for IB-M208P on google and you will find a distributor in your area...
It`s a littel difficult to build this board into a MPC2K, cause you have to take appart half of the MPC to put it in...

ive had lines across my screen before ,and it wasnt a fault with the lcd it was the operating system.have you tried installing the latest o.s? this may fix the problem.
