I have an mpc 2000xl,

and in the 2000xl you can switch sound to mono polyphony however, when played, a pad only cuts off the same pad or 2 others, im wondering if the 2500 or any other mpcs have a feature where any pad can cut off any other pad, like true mono polyphony like on a monophonic keyboard where when playing D, any other note will cut it off, not just D

thanks guys

Poly/Mono
Hold Shift press Program, Params (Voice Overlap)

Mute Assign
While Voice Overlap is selected press Open Window and that will take you to Mute Assign screen.
