sync with daw.trouble. any help?

I'm having trouble syncing my 2500 into my DAW. I have the eight outs going to my mixer. my main outs going to aux returns. when i go to record four tracks into cubase 4 through my fast track pro it will not let me. the software controls the mpc, but it says that i only have a left and a right on my fast track pro. i thought that it was 4x4. any suggestions? or any reason that this is not working like i want it to.

i have a m-audio fast pro. is there a way to track all eight out through it to cubase at the same time?

yes i have found a way to do it. i need an interface with at least 8 ins and 8 outs. that way i can track out all eight outs at the same time and still put all eight on my mixer as well.

Don't spend money you don't need to spend! The Fast Track Pro will work fine (I use one). Just take the extra little time it takes to track the beat out two tracks at a time. Save that $400+ you'll spend on a new interface on something else. I track one track at a time through the Stereo Outs, it takes a little longer than tracking 8 at a time, but it works just as good.

4 inputs: 2 analog (XLR / 1/4" combos), 2 digital (S/PDIF In).
4 outputs: Output 1-2 (1/4", RCA 1-2), Output 3-4 (RCA 3-4, S/PDIF [echos the 3-4 outputs])
