I have modified the case to look more retro .. the mods are as follows

* JJOS1 4.99 registered version installed and working (password included in sale)
* 1GB Flash Card
* Off white/yellowish paint job with retro looking stencil on top for lettering (clear spray finish over it)
* Retro Volume controller knobs
* Large Retro Main Controller wheel
* Large Main Controller Wheel SMOOTH/SILENT operation (does not click) this makes scrolling faster and gives more focus to the music.
* Black rubber pads
* New Replacement pad kit installed

- Please note that some of the surface stencil has imperfections and the front card reader cover is missing (cover can be ordered from http://www.mpcstuff.com/black-memory-ca ... r-mpc.html) for only $7.00 US

I am also including 33+ sampling discs

thanks D-One. Its a clear water based stencil decal..feed it into your laser printer and then you have stencil you can put in water and then lay onto the mpc cover. wait for it to dry 24hrs later and spray clear spray paint coat. Its trick and took me many attempts to get it right.

the wheel mod ... I will start with the wheel , the wheel is from a an ol sony vhs player similiar to this .

I cant remember the model. The picture is a KTL cctv TLR1281 Time Lapse Security VCR.

I removed the top wheel and sleeve ring from the player then I had to sand down/cut the wheel base where it plugs in other wise it would have looked like a tap above the mpc.

if you remove the existing wheel from the mpc you will see the rotary controller beneath , that is attached to the board.






look above the three purple switches in the picture . I had to pry the top part off the rotary controller and get rid of a small metal thing in there (it looks like the metal thing on a wooden clothes peg, but tiny) if youre lucky it will just fly out anyway.



then place the top part of the rotary back on and glue gun it into place so its secure

Nice Color on the MP Tho, and the Stencil work is fire. Nice Lettering. Exp. the Pad area. Tight.
