Ok, i premise that i used search button but I found only the way to set mpc as slave and acid as master (the opposite of what i would do).

What I'm trying to make is that Acid receives orders from mpc, like start/stop/rec/overdub/bpm. In other words I want to synchronize Acid with the mpc.

The final idea would be that the keyboard control the VST in Acid, and at the same time Acid received orders from the MPC. But this is the next step, so for the moment I focus on the relationship mpc/soundcard omitting the keyboard.

The link between mpc and sound card is correct, and I can play the vst by the mpc pads. All I want to do is synchronize.

ps. Why do you suggest not to use acid? I think it is much more intuitive and faster than other programs. I use acid as platform, with VST and plugin of other manufacturers!!

Let me know, thanks!

what you are trying to do is hook up Midi between the devices, and there are already tutorials out there, just replace Reason with your program.

Google / Search here, it's here I promise you.

i have jj os 3.8 and i have the same problem as you, but with cubase and pro-tools....now I'm thinking if you have jj os 4.99 this would be possible. I'll give it a try in a few weeks but if what os do you have. the reason is that these software's except reason only will only slave using mtc/mmc not midiclock. it's actually the mpc thats the problem and from what i read 4.99 fixes this.
