Thanks for the compliments, wasn't trying to win any awards ( Id like to thank..... ;)) Just thought Id share, I posted my home set up a few months back the link is there. This place has taken a lot of my time & money. We have several projects starting this week & were looking to start renting out the space between projects. Still have a lot of equipment to add, mics, pres, keys etc.

Looks like a nice place! I'm sure you don't want suggestions at this point but since the patchbays make the console a little 'right heavy' I would have put the outboard rack (with the the OSA 500 series on top) on the left with the Protools rack and moved the whole thing over to the right so your centre section is more central compared to the window and monitors. I really have to be in the middle of the desk when I mix. Is it a commercial place that takes outside bookings or just somewhere for you to work?

Mad props regardless!

Its mostly a project studio but we will be renting it out between sessions. we Are thinking of turning the pre-pro room into a b room with the office on the other side of the wall as the control room & the room in that pic as the iso booth. As far as moving the Amek, its centered in the room & if your preference is to sit in the middle you can route starting on channel 25 & your good, plus the rack is on wheels so if you need just pull it closer.

Yeah, that's not me. Ha ha. But I do agree, it is something hot about female producers/beatmakers.

joeljar wrote:Great setup!!! what do you think of the AV-40s? Been considering a pair for my dorm. Think they could take it?

There's good. I want to get something a little better, but I don't NEED to. They should be good for a dorm. I bang the shit out of these when making beats, mixing, and just playing music from my laptop.

How is the modded 003?

Great for the price. The stereo imaging is wider, tons more headroom, punchy and defined low end and super clear top end

Yeah...I don't know if I'd ever sell them. I'm still getting used to the compressor. First thing I did when i got the pre was run a drum break, one notch on the lowend, one notch on the highs and cut half on the mids on 3.2khz....smooth and big sounding! I would recommend Aurora to EVERYONE! And have so far.
