Thanks. Was gonna get a pair of Adam A7's and a sub, but demo'd them both at a Guitar Center and ended up liking the VXT's more. After a while the Adam's were fatiguing and a bit hyped in the mid to hi end. The stereo imaging and sweet spot on the VXT's were much more pronounced too.

Yeah I agree man.. that is a DOPE SETUP. but its worthy of its OWN thread rather than overshadowing the cribs section.

That said.. VERY NICE setup there affliCted

VXT8's sound really natural to me. I bought some for general listening! :)

crap, I've heard the Adams are some of the best monitors you can buy.

I'd choose barefoots over compareable Adam's. The ribbon just doesn't do it for me.

Your right.

Never heard the 3 way S series Adam's. Just really got turned off by the ribbon tweeter.
