"Ver1.00 of the free version which can perform save of a sequence and edit of wave is a schedule of upload in October."

Not much of October left. Hopefully about to drop.

It is out now, check the Japanese site if the USA one is not working but it just got put up, i asked JJ on his youtube account earlier and he emailed me from youtube "JJ-Sequencer Ver1.00 was uploaded now"...i've been playing with it a few minutes and it is pretty impressive for a work in progress,,,it is way more stable than the previous beta versions and has save functions, however as of now i think it only saves it to JJ sequencer format for sequences and programs not mpc1000 readable files (i could be wrong but thats what it looks like so far, hopefully in the future versions) but it does load mpc1000 seq's and programs fine, I def like it for version 1 and look forward to its progress, good job JJ. I know a lot of u want JJ to work more on the MPC OS's but i think JJ's doing a great job of updates on all the JJ releases, anyway just my opinion but i think this JJ sequencer is dope for being used along with the MPC1000, i'll be copping this when its fully done

JJ from youtube response "In the pay version, it becomes possible to save in the format of MPC.

kicking my heels

I just had a quick look through the online manual and there's a few options in there that i'd like to see added to OS2, but it appears to be missing a hell of a lot of options that currently are in OS2.
I haven't seen anything that would convince me to spend money on it.

Hey, I just tried it myself and I must say how you can drag a sample segment on a sample is amazing.

Some other great features are:
- being able to organize my sample folders in windows.
- editing my samples on a bigger screen
- all my music and sample CDs load instead of having to be sampled into the MPC (so it is technically faster)
- Saving to MPC in the future
- A great sample work station

I am not going to sit here and say- this version- is payment ready especially when JJ said on his youtube blog more features will be added like saving to MPC files. So, the additional features should make it payment ready.

Some improvements I would love to see is

1-Auto Name of samples: instead of "sample 1" as default...using the name of the original sample with auto sub headings-what you are trying to do.

For example, the sample name I loaded is trumpet riff...the jj sequence should have it ready to save as Trumpet riff_extract_1 or Trumpet riff_silence 1 or Trumpet riff_chop 1

2-Loop edit: There is auto play in loop edit but extract doesn't have auto play...so I have to press play with my mouse to test my sliced adjustments.

3-Toggle for wave names:when you toggle between "PAD" and "NOTE" I feel there should be Wave Name added.I have to drag the mouse to the right to see the sample on that track.

4-Mouse wheel: It's upside down. When I surf the net and want to scroll up I move the mouse wheel forward. When you try to change the velocity in the grid I noticed it was backwards.Up should be roll wheel forward and down should be roll wheel back.

5-Pattern Drag and Drop:This was a feature I was really looking forward to in the beta and now it's gone.Undockable patterns groups that I can label would be nice...like Favorite Pattern group or Shaker Pattern group.

6-Loop distance: changes when you switch to extract

7-No Audition:I have to press do it to hear the changes like reverse.

8-Grid Stops Playing:When you try to make real time edits to the grid it stops sometimes.

9-Chop: 1- 16 is also gone.

10-No Hott Keys:Pressing a button on the keyboard to audition a sound, if someone doesn't want to use auto sample play.

11-One to eight keys: if it's possible to use the numerals 1-8 (or F1-F8) to drop in positions on the grid.

12-One Key Chord: By pressing the "A button on the key board" you can play the cord of choice, then keys s'd'f'g are reserved for that individual note that goes with that chord.

13-The Rest:Right click on the grid to change color to blue to show note is there but not played. This will help for quick and precise arrangements. When it's saved into the MPC format notes will be deleted.

Good luck JJ

P.S. I'm looking for a JJ Sequencer Christmas :)

To arrange track content this would be great!

Also more zoom out would be nice. To have a better overview over all tracks.
