Problem installing JJOS2

I am on OS1 right now. 4.99. I didnt use a password. I am just trying it out. I want to try OS2, but my mpc wont show OS2 on the memory card.

Do I need to buy the password for OS1 before I try OS2 or 2xl?

yes. it's right on his main page:
If not OS1 of Ver4.98 or more version into which the password was entered,
the OS file of OS2 will not be displayed on the screen of load.

same goes for os2xl.

I do realize it was a pretty stupid question now that I think about it. Anyone could just skip the OS1 password and just buy an OS2 password if that wasnt the case.
