mpc wont connect

I just got http://www.neural-net.ca/store/images/uno.jpg , its a midisport uno. I got it so i can connect my mpc to logic but its not working. I've followed a ton of tutorials and cant get it working. can someone help.

Be more precise.

This could be almost everything.
I have a midisport 4x4 which wouldnt work on my macbook pro untill I hooked it up to a powered USB Hub.
