i made a few nice beats on the 1k .. not that it wasnt possible.... i made one with a really sick broken slow rythm.. but i think it will be more fun with the 3k

and yes even upgraded pads/sensors somehow didnt feel to good, still stiff

When Buying a Vintage machine, money can't be an issue. If it is, stick with the 1k and master it. Swing function and Proper drum editing will get your drums sounding good on the 1k.

If you are not tech savvy with no repair skills, I say keep the 1k.

have some DIY xp, no worries and very well dealt with vintage gear before

1k is gone and i dont miss it, 3k , int. card reader, Vailixi on the way...

i am most of all looking forward to the simplicity and efficience of the workflow on the 3k with the 3.50 OS without too much sub-menues and feats i do not need...

allready that chop while playback stuff is worth it... and the faster saving of new chopped sounds is priceless...

not primaly buying into sound-hype or something
