Here's the deal.
I got my MPC 60 last month. I noticed it was making a weird static noise. I checked the 8 outs and it was still there, so it's not the stereo outs or the 8 outs. I thought it was a grounding issue, so i put a ground lift on the end of the power plug... and the static noise is still there.
My boy has a 2000XL and his is making a similar noise. He said he picked up cheap Ram for it on ebay and installed it himself. He said he thinks its a Ram issue, that sometimes you just get faulty Ram.
My MPC 60 has the maxed out memory and it was installed by Forat. I'm not sure what the issue is. It sucks because I'm trying to track my beats out to Pro Tools and you can hear that static.
Anyone have any ideas?
Has this happened to anyone else?
I soloed the drums on a test track so you can hear it. Check it out here:

Its the first track in the player called MPC60 Static Noise
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm about to send it back to Forat to get fixed.
Thanks!
