Cant save beat with made with my mpc

I just bought a blue mpc 1000 from gutar center. I used to have one a few years ago...i have no problem savinng beats with my first MPC 1000. With the new used MPC 1000 beat that i make are not saving to my memory card. I looks as if its saving but i ttok the memory card to guitar center and tried loading the beat on thier mqachine i relized there is a problem with th mpc i bought. and idea how i can correct this issue.

could be the memory card.

its not the one that came with it is it?

there is a thread on this forum that covers which CF cards are noted to be compatible and which are not.

Im using a Kingston 8GB myself. also a few PNY 2GB and 1gB cards as well.

If you know how to save and are doing it correctly, then its 99% the card

Cool ill give it a look. I am able to load drum kicks and other sounds from the same cards. Once the beat is made....i try saving the track to the same card. i cant reload the saved track. ill definatly try another card. thanks.

are you saving the entire memory into a new folder when you save?
