Format Changing - reg

Dear Friends
I want to change my MPC 2500 Programs and samples to MPC 4000 Format
What I have to do?
I tried copy the Programs and samples in CF card and copied to computer then wrire in cd try to load into MPC 4000. It is not loading. What procedures?

You should be able to load up programs but not your all programs system files as the mpc 4000 uses multis. You can try to aksys to transfer your programs and samples from your computer to the 4k via a usb cable also.

you have to use translator to concert the program to another format.
Program's in the 2500 and 1000 cant be loaded withoutconverting them to AKP (akai s5000 format that the 4k can read)
It wil have the same note numbers etc.

Before that I had no luck converting some tracks I made at a friends house with a 2500

What is "translator"? I need to convert .pgm to 4k readable.
