I need memory for an MPC 60 I

My MPC 60 has the 3.10 and the scsi upgrades, but has stock memory.

I know forat will do the upgrade for $150, and masterbits and a couple other European sites will sell me the chip for about the same price.

Is there a less expensive way to upgrade my memory?

I read the instructions in the stickied mpc60 bible thread in the forum, but that looks a bit too dangerous for some one like my self who has no experience with things like soldering etc.

I did a search and it came back with too many results that did not specifically address my question.
