60 reseting randomly

Anyone ever had their MP Reset itself like crazy? My 60 starts up for a second then keeps jumping back to the boot screen numerously. I opened it up and checked any loose soldering from the power cable, nothing.

I'm a MPC3000 user. Never used a 60. Did this problem start all of a sudden? Try reseating the EPROMS.

Sounds like your MPC is power cycling. Have you recently made any modifications recently to it? If so, something may be shorting out inside the MPC -- take out the modification and see if it corrects the issue.

Try a different power cord.

Double check all the connections inside -- make sure all the cables are seated properly.

Unplug the backlight foil and see if the MPC still resets -- if this fixes it, you have a short in the backlight path.

If any of these doesn't fix the issue, then there is likely an issue with the power delivery inside the MPC.

Went in and reseated all the cable connectors and everythings good now. Thanks! Was just finished with a beat when it spazzed too, had to go back and recreate it.
