Are the pads on the 60II only active in the center? I can hit the corners and it feels like there is nothing there(really squishy) and no sounds triggers. The only reliable point of triggering is pretty much the center of the pad (which is very solid), which makes 2 finger 16 notes a little more difficult. Is this normal? Will new rubber pads make a difference in feel? Also is there a good way to test out the sensor to see if it is losing sensitivity? I do get velocity on all pads but I thought I'd have a broader range, it seems like a very steep exponential curve, and I have to hit it pretty hard.
On another note is SCSI really worth it at this point for a 60II if it has a new floppy drive?
