F**K!!!

I haven't used my MPC4000 in a few months. Today, I turn it on, and now the unit will not see the HDD or CDD. But I have everything backed up on an external HDD.

dang son! lol, that's wack. I'm like you, haven't used my mpc in MONTHS, but I have everything I need backed up.

I had the same problem when I started the 4k several weeks ago.
The machine couldn't find any drive. So, I opened the unit and made sure
the cables were sitting tightly in their slots.

Well, by physics, I couldn't detect any bad connection, but after closing
the unit, it worked again and still does.

Hint: This was the first time I handled my opened MPC 4k without getting an
electrical shock! Yeah!
