I see LOTS of records by this dude everywhere! His face is all over any charity shop you go into. I checked Voodoo Party and it's a pretty dope album!

I got 4 of them :D

But I dont think that this is his dopest Album (ok the cover is the dopest :D )
I like the LP "Well kept secret" much more. Its totally differnt from his other LPs. More funky and jazzy. AFAIK its also the only LP without his own orcherstra. The names who worked on this LP are known

I take it you've never been diggin in the UK. James last is in just about EVERY box of records I come across.

I'm guaranteed in every charity shop i go in to find a James Last, Boney M, Sound Of Music, Grease, Glenn Miller, Engelbert Humperdink, or Leo Sayer record. I've probably missed out a few LOL.

Same here. But nothing to wonder about. I'm from germany. Everyone over 50 have some James Last records.

I found an "easy listening" boxset with 4 Kaempfert and 4 James Last records, pretty much brand new condition too. They ain't got the ones you guys listed tho they got

Latin A La
In Love
The James Last Beat

and a concert disc from both of em

haven't listened to any of em yet but the Kaempfert ones were pretty wack from what I remember
