He'llo every1, I'm JJ i'm from Amsterdam, Holland.

I recently bought the MPC1000 wiht JJ OS 3,08 and i have some questions about it.

I usualy start with a 4 bar drumloop something like this:

Sequence1
Track1-hats
Track2-snare
Track3-kicks

Now i chopped up a sample from an old record and i wanto play it for 8 bars on Sequence2 with the drumloop that i made on Sequence 1.

How the heck do i loop the first sequence and play the second right on top of it?
I've tried alot but nothing seems to help.

I hope i explained enough that you guys understand me what my problem is. And that you guys maybe could help me.

Thanks

you can't have two sequences playing at the same time. so, make sequence one eight bars long (couple of ways to do that --see manual). add another track and play your chopped up sample.

you probably want to put your chopped up sample on its own program, not the same program as the hats, snare and kick.

download the manuals -- you'll need both the akia and the jjos manual.
