Logic 9.0.2 with mpc 4000

I made a mistake a posted in the wrong forum not sure how to move to post, so i apologize in advance for reposting, but im new to logic, trying to learn it, but i want to use it with my mpc 4000, any post or links that can help bascially from the ground up with connecting it and then going into getting it to where i can maximize both logic and the mp?
