EB-16 sampleverb worth it just for the filters?

I was a tad harsh on the eb16, but to put it in perspective... If the op can stretch a bit further he could pick up a decent used Kaoss Pad 3 or MFC-42 which will both offer far better filter effects.

worth for the filters and delay, and modulation when you don't use it for modulation.
i was cussin mine out, but figured it out. i actually couldn't live without eb16 if not for the filter section, it's the delays i can't do without.
sure you can buy better, but why waste electricity?

Which one is better: 2000xl's original resonant low pass or EB16's filter? For making bassline..
