please help: connecting IDE CF Cardreader to Adapter + MPC3k

ok... 3K is on the way and should be here soon.
i have here the correct Adcard "AEC-7720U"
IDE 44-pin to 50-pin SCSI Adapter

+ a 44 pin IDE CF card reader...


i understand that the Adapter simply will be connected where the floppy is now.

but what do i need to connect the Adapter to the CF Drive?

any special cable or something?

will i need to do anything else???




anyone a hint about mounting the stuff proper inside the MPC ?

you have to completely take the floppy drive apart,

and then use the runner belt, from inside the floppy, to hold it all together

hahaha that was a good one form you finaly..

ok serious... can someone give some advice as this is realy specific stuff and i really can not get that information anywhere else.

about ur PM, i only know that this model adapter(read type above) is supposed to work with a compatible CF reader in the 3k

so i got a 44 pin CF Reader

thats as far as i am.... cant help you further either, lets hope someone here can.

No that's cool whatever you use..We have the same MPC3000 so it should work
