what kind of pot to buy for q-link slider replacement?

hi mpc gurus

i haven't posted much but i've been reading this forum a lot lately. lots of really helpful info here!

now i have a problem...

one of the q-link sliders one my 1k has gone bad and needs to be replaced. i know i should be able to get it easily from an electronics store much cheaper than mpc stuff.

i searched the forum but couldn't find the exact model number for the potentiometer i should be looking for, only found the model number for the 2kxl. anyone know what's the one in the 1k?

anyway, i actually managed to find the spec for the slider in an old thread in the 25k forum.

Hi, can you tell us the specs of the MPC1K slider?

Have to replace my q link 2. How hard is it to do?
