just a few question about scsi and mpc 3000

i just bought a Iomega zip 100 and want to know how to use it properly on my mpc3000. i have two switches on the back

Switch 1:
-Termination
-off-0
-on-1

Switch 2:
-SCSI ID
-6
-5

what do this switches mean? i am completely lost here. i bought in a second hand store with no manual.
i also tried to put .wav files into my floppy disk and into my mpc and it couldnt seem to read them.. is there any format i need to change my drum sounds to so the mpc3000 read them. is that even possible?

thanks homie. i Tried downloading the Mpc3000 converter had it almost running but i relized it can only run on the old Mac. Does anyone know of any .SND to .Wav program that is free for a mac osx 10.5.8. tried searching for but couldnt find one.

If its that easy show me a free program please.. iv been looking all over the net for 2 days looking for a free converter for the MAC osx.. can a MPC3000 user, that has a mac osx hit up this forum please.

or, you could just buy "rs-16x"

i was about to buy the program when i had just realized it actually does nothing i really need it to do.. let me restate my question... i need a program that can CONVERT .WAV files to .SND files so i can load up my DRUM SOUNDS into my MPC 3000.. i DONT need a Digital shity drum machine thank you

rs-16 offers the services you wish, just read the text.

i know it is hard for you, to maybe read something.
but try concentrating, real hard..


you can load all your waves, then save as a mpc3000 kit.
I do this with my mpc60 all the time


also, if you don't want rs-16, you can download mpcPGMmaker,
and use the same serial that you purchased for rs-16

i got your pogram man. i cant find the manual on the internet. tell me how it works.. iv loaded up each sound i wanted to convert. now what and where do i go from here buddy. when i hit "save as" i dont see an mpc3000 option. sorry if i seemed irritated but nobody has given me a clear answer yet... just want to make beats yo haha

it took me 5 sec. to read and understand that this soft does the trick for the MPC3000

AND to see a link to the maunal on the same page....
