color of grey 2kxl screen?

i got an opp to buy a gray 2kxl for $400 and am gonna buy it but was wondering....are the screens in the gray xl's and the blue xl's the same?
what i mean is...
the border of the screen--the part of the screen where the 'f' keys are located on the gray xl has the navy/midnight blue frame around, like it came from a blue xl. just curious if thats the way it came or if this xl has had some sort of work done to it.

i dont know if there are any improvements done to the screen, but my friends has a Blue 2kxl and his screen does look different than mine, which is the older grey 2kxl. his simply newer and less likely to get the dreaded lines.
i already have a few on mine
my guess is that its a replaced screen from an inoperable blue 2kxl or SE edition...
