I am interested in possibly controlling my S3000's LP filter externally via my mpc1k. I thought it would be as easy as sending midi cc's but i dont think so after reading the manual this morning. I have to leave out thanks to my daughter getting in trouble at book club today :x . I will read more later but i skimmed over the section in the manual about LFO/envelopes. Is this where the secret lies? Will read more later tonight but any tips/info will be beneficial. Thanks MPC family.

This is the MPC60/MPC3000 forum. Not the MPC1000 forum.

BTW: The concept of accessing the filter on an S3000 is the same on all MPC's.

Specifics on how to do this with the MPC1000 would be better asked in the MPC1000 forum.

As you have the JJ OS in your MPC1000, perhaps the JJ OS forum specifically.

MODS: consider moving this thread to the appropriate MPC1000 forum where it may receive a more topical response ???

Just a thought.

Rohan.

Just a thought.

first rule of the 60/3000 forum is that you show the most respect possible to Rohan...

second, this isn't the S-series sampler forum, join the group in Yahoo or post in the more general section of the MPC forums and you'll get more help

third, stop being a little bi*ch!.. I would have helped you, since I have an S3000 but your attitude makes me want to punch you in your throat and go Fedor on your face...

make like horeshit....and hit the dusty trail biatch!

I'm just saying don't talk to one of the few people investing $money$ and time behind the MPC 3000 like they're some newb with a 1000 trying to figure out how to control an S3000
