You use it to mix and record seperate tracks easier. Can't do it with just stereo outs. You'd have to record one track (or two?) at a time.

i never said i didnt know what this was. i was more or less trying to confirm a few things. some people are just quik to act like theyre superior or whatever. but anyway, thanks.......

no offense yo but this is a newbie board post. the 8 outs make 8 sounds goto 8 channels on a mixer. not just pads but what u group to one track. Please do a search or the newbie joint.
