 HAHAHAHA. Where is it from???

italian spiderman... just google that. i think the whole film is on youtube now...

and now that mpcstuff has glow-in-the-dark pads with solid colors... the whole "but the bacon or corn pop pads glow in the dark" answer really holds no value anymore. they just plain look awful in the light or the dark.

Needed to change direction with sequencing/sampling. I'm now all ITB. Even for live sets. The MPC500 is a great little device....if only it weren't tainted with bugs of the worse kind..... when you're saving. I sold the MPCs for an APC40 and an LPD8 because the Mac is proving to be far more stable (knock on wood) and liberating. I'll see how it goes. I've actually got some opening shows coming up within the next couple months so I need to get cracking on putting together the thousand loops I've made and finish all those half completed tracks. :)

Got this little 7 inch touchscreen LCD for taking the MacMini to gigs.

Everything that's not rack-mounted is held in place with heavy duty Velcro.

Hey man I am thinking of getting it the LPD8 and the midget midi keyboard that came out the same time.
Do you recommend the LPD8?

I've only had it for a bit over a week but the pads are much better than the 500 or 1000 in my opinion. I would compare them to the KORG PadKontrol which have a great feel.

Think the LPD8 has the same pads as the Akai XR-20 (if you've ever tried that).

It's called an AXiS-64 Harmonic Table MIDI controller. I've had it since May and it's very inspiring. It's extremely difficult to play all the old familiar stuff I used to on the regular keyboard but since I got the AXiS I've been playing all kinds of wild riffs and chord progressions that I would've never come up with before. I highly recommend buying one. The flagship model is quite expensive but you can get the smaller AXiS-49 for a bit under $500. Well worth the money in my opinion.
