MPC5000 reviews, bug reports and fellow user support on the most recent standalone, hardware MPC from Akai

I'm wondering If anyone has tried using the 5000 as a master with Reason and what problems they have run into.

The poblem I have right now is that I can't figure out how to get the all the devices in reason to play seperately on the MPC sequencer.

I have a ReDrum ut that is being triggered from the pads on the MPC.

I want to lay a bass line over it from the Subtractor but I can't seem to get the Pads to play the bass notes without the ReDrum notes.

So I have a device layed out in Pad Bank A over the first 10 pads and the bass notes show up and play along with the drum sounds on the ReDrum.

When I switch devices in Reason it stops playing the looped beat and plays the midi notes from the beat but translates it to bass notes.

Is there a way to indepently sequence multiple devices from Reason on seperate tracks of the MPC?

I hopes this makes sense...

1) don t use reason anymore

2)look into the reason manual if YOU HAVE IT

3)or use the fantastic search function in this forum....!!!
