S950+MPC 60

Would there be anyone in here looking to issue a good deed on this rainy Sunday? I need a little help with this S950+MPC setup I have going on. Problem- I have taken 4 samples. 1) Kick 2) Snare 3) Hi Hat 4) Piano. I have assigned each sample to a perspective keygroup inside a program entitled First One. Keygroup 1 is the kick, keygroup 2 is the snare, keygroup 3 is the hihat and keygroup 4 is the piano. I then edited those samples accordingly by adjusting the sample start and sample end and whatever additional adjustment I felt they needed. I then assigned the samples to the 4 bottom pads of the MPC 60 going from left to right. So the kick is on the farthest left pad 37/A01 followed by the snare 36/A02, hihat 42/A03 and then I end on the lowest right pad being the piano 82/A04. The S950 is set to One Shot=On, Constant Pitch=On, and Omni=On. I recorded a drum patten at a bpm of 94.0. I can hear my drum pattern fine with the exception of only one speaker but thats another post. My real issue I would like to get down to the bottom of is when I go to record mode on the mpc to try and record the piano it seems as if it is being cutoff. For example the entire piano sample doesnt play. Thats right when I strike the piano sample pad 82/A04 just a very small minute piece is recorded. In other words the entire sample is not playing. Not to familiar with this machine so any advice would be greatly appreciated. The manual has assisted a great deal this far but I am at a lost now so maybe one of you experienced S950 users might be up for offering a few suggestion. Pardon the long post but I strongly feel if you give a detailed explanation of your issue it strongly increases your chance of someone coming to your aid. I hope this was detailed enough that someone sees my misstep and can help me rectify it. As always if you prefer not to assist then please keep the sarcasm to yourself and Kim=Keep It Moving. you must assign them to different outputs, if you assign two sounds to one output they will cut each other off

if you use the stereo out, it will come in on one speaker, and two intermitently if I remember right

anyway, utilize the multiple outputs...the S950 (and sp1200's) greatest friend

Some things that come to my mind:

*Make sure that the pianosample is set to ONESHOT. (I know you said ONESHOT is ON but maybe you just forgot the piano sample).
Just to tell the whole truth. You dont really need to set it to oneshot=on. you could also set it to off. To record the lenght you just need to hold the pad on the MPC as long as you want.

*As Delta said: use different outs for the samples (Last Page in PRG EDIT. If you got a sample that needs to play simultan -for example you want to play a chord with- you will need to set it to the stereo out)
