Does the MPC have this function?

Lets say Ive sampled a guitar chord, a sound that lasts for a couple of seconds.

If I hit the pad twice, I want the the first chord to end where the second chord starts, instead of just overlapping each other (as it's set as default).

Is there a setting where I can change this, and if so, how?

shift + 6 > drum.1 > params

in the right corner you see poly when you go on that you can spin it to mono
then it wont overlap but cut off the first sound

Thanks man! This is gonna save me some time, Ive been doing it manually by letting go of the pad a millisecond before hitting it again

Hate it when people pull the whole look in the manual. Some people like to come to the forums for extra help. Why have a forum then?

because with the manual you have access to the answer right in front of you. Some people just dont want to take the initiative to help themselves...

Haha wait a minute.. Was that for me? The last thing I did in this thread was showing appreciation.


Anyway.. Im not to keen on reading, and the manual being written in english doesnt help. Ive never even glanced at it actually, and still Ive managed to do everything Ive wanted until now. Thanks again. (btw check out the beats! www.myspace.com/damaxfactor)

@ MaxMiliani, nah I think it was for kickinit.
My advice is to highlight everything and hit OPEN WINDOW
and see where the menus take you, it opens up a whole new worlds within the mpc. :D
