Product ID not shown in SAVE mode

hey folks,

I must be eiher really stupid or have a real unique problem because I can't find any matching answers even after hours of research in the forum and on the net.

I want to install JJOS2. I already bought a pw for OS1 and have the latest version 5.56 installed and everything works fine. to upgrade the OS i need to send JJ the ID of my OS1. But it reeeeaaallyyy doesn_t show up when I enter the SAVE mode (as written in the FAQ). It just shows the save-functions on the left and the destination on the right ( as we all know it from akai os and the registered jj versions ) but NO ID!!! I SWEAR! And i looked through all the other modes but I can't find it.

Try installing OS2 and things will probably shine a whole lot brighter.

I also tried to go in os2's save mode to see the ID but it only says "Get A XL-Password!!". I wish I could...

Then try to install os2xl. It seems you have the mpc2500 so you have to buy os2xl first if you want to downgrade to os2.

thanx man! with xl it shows my ID. I thought you first had to install os2 then osxl... it's easy if you know how...
