So I just have the MPC1000 JJ OS, so the free one.

And I want to play Pad1 a bass tone with all keys of my piano. Is that possible without making a new programm with different tune settings.

I hop u understand what I mean.

I want to play a completly bassline from my piano but i just have one simple tone in the mpc !

If you don't make a program with your 1 sample having different tune settings then how do you propose that your sample plays different notes over your keyboard??

For the free JJOS v 3.09:
In program, go to the pad with your sample on it, highlight 'Tune', click 'Auto' (F5), hit 'DO IT'.
This copies your sample to every pad and sets the tune parameter for you automatically.

Yeah, if you want to play the sample from a separate controller then 16 levels won't work. Sorry I missed that. 16 levels only works from pads.

im i doing something wrong?

Are you using the free JJOS?

If you are using JJOS2/JJOS2XL then just create an INST program and put your sample at the first position. Voila.

Ahh, I forgot to mention that have to press 'window' when you have put your cursor over the Tune value.. So, it should read:

For the free JJOS v 3.09:
In program, go to the pad with your sample on it, highlight the 'Tune' value of your sample, click the window key, click 'Auto' (F5), hit 'DO IT'.
This copies your sample to every pad and sets the tune parameter for you automatically.

There ya go :)

If you are sure, then I guess it's only JJOSv3.09 for the mpc2500 that has it then. I downloaded and flashed 3.09 especially to check before I posted anything here. And I've just checked again with JJOSv3.09 and it works as I described above.

I didn't think there would be any difference between the 1000 and 2500 JJOSv3.09.
