HELP....Maximum capacity for compact flash cards?

Hi just bought myself a second hand mpc 2500 and i wanted to know what is the maximum storage capacity does the mpc allow,i.e will a 16gb card work..and what format should i load the sample as,i.e mp3 or wav files?..thanks

By all acounts a 16gb CF card WILL WORK. I use an 8gb
