MPC 5000 component quality

Hello all,

After reading numerous horror stories on this site suggesting that Numark/Akai have been using low quality electrical components in the current range of MPCs I wanted to ask whether any 5000 users have experienced any major issues with their machine - broken Q-link sliders, dodgy output jacks, screen problems, etc? I think it's been out long enough now for some balanced views to be given on this. I'm in the market for the machine but I'm not prepared to lay down serious money for something that I don't have 100% confidence in in terms of reliability. Any feedback would be appreciated.

my output jacks sucks i have to put tape around both jacks tightly to get and even response...but I use balanced cables and thats all i got not sure if it matters or not otherwise everything else goin smooth : ) knock on wood

ive had my machine since it first dropped, and my only problem is the screen, but its been like that since i got it... and that thread is on here somewhere
