MPC 2500 vs. MPC 4000????

I'm in a position to buy a MPC 2500 or MPC 4000. I wanted to know which one would be the better purchase and why?? What are the PRO's and CON's within each machine??? Just curious ya know???

the mpc 4000 is more advanced then the 2500. The 2500 is straight up sample chopping instant sample based beat creation, while the 4000 is more of a beatchop machine and a complex multisample sampler at the same time. Way more features to program and tweak the sounds. For lot of 'simple beatmakers' this machine is an overkill. I'd suggest to go to akaipro.com, download both manuals and based on what u like or dislike after ur readings I'd make a decision.

not familiar with the 2500, but I sold my 1000 and got me a 4K and I really love it waaaaay more than the 1000. Like many people already said in other threads, in the beginning you really need to take your time taming the beast, but once you figure out how to use the machine beat creating becomes much more fun. I recommend a Mpc 4000

mpc 4000 is better,sure,but the difference it's the price!
