Need help extracting finished beat Please

Sorry to ask but i am trying to figure out how to extract a finished beat from my red and blue mpc1000 running jjos 4.99 when recording directly into a DAW i get static/hum . Is there another way to extract the beat as a single wav? I have the owners manual, and the mpc-tutor ebook, and for some reason even after digging through them for quite some time i still cant find any answers (perhaps im retarded). Thanks for any info you guys can share.

If you have the RAM installed you can resample and save as wave.
