Just recieved my xl today from the mailmam

Decided the xl studio plus was a better buy than the 1000.

Going with the old standby

and for 830 I couldnt pass it up

I would have loved the usb but I dont mind zip

Ill keep you posted and try to stay away from the dumb questions

I got the XL and it's great, but the Classic is straight too... No doubt... Do your thing on whatever you got...

i checked out the 1000, i own xl.......in all honesty i would stick with the XL.

i think the 1000 is designed for computer based. even though its got some good features i wish my xl had.

youll love your mpc GOOD choice, and good luck.

btw. id recomend to get a turntable if you dont already have one.

I already got a turntable. My trusty technics sl-d3. Which I run through a old mini panasonic reciever and out of the headphone out and split to the mpc. Gives my samples a less clean sound to say the least.

I used to make beats on a rs7000 but had to sell it due to credit card debt. And when I finally got some funds I decided to switch up to due the fact that I love to beat on pads and I didnt like the rs7000 pads.

Ive only had it a week and I love it. So far everyquestion Ive had was answered by the manual so I havent needed to ask anybody.

SCSI and ram is in the mail and I cant wait to upgrade the damn ram. I can work with 2mb. It causes me to be creative. But I hate the speed of floppies. Somebody please tell me the zip drive loads faster.
