fatar 37 key midi in the house! HAHA i have that same controller keyboard. i'll take some pics tonight and post tomorrow.

Here is my rhythm table.. These are the most used modules for the drums/perc stuff I work with.

sp303,ea1,er1,multimixer,tx81z,mk4901,ef303,px4,es1,mp3 cd


mpc,del flyer,ox8,(other midi controllers out of sight)

thats my current perc arsenal, btw- the current layout is exactly how I work with them. I'm trying to find a better workstation solution right now. I get alot of static interference with the mixer and the eletribes which gives me a sort of constant analog distortion which I like alot. If I wanna clean my sounds- I have to move everything around.

ego your mpc looks real crisp for it to be not an xl......you take care of you ish...thaz good....i have that same workstation problem.....i also have a secret weapon (not the same model though)......so i do know what you mean when you say secret weapon

I get allot of use out of this little phrase sampler.

As a sampler
Sometimes I load movie samples to the pads but mostly I will make some ambient atmospheres and assign them to the pads. I also use the "Audio In" pad to feed in samples I have burned on MP3, but lately I have found myself feeding those Halloween sound cd's (got them for a buck each) to give my tracks some attitude.

As an FX unit
My typically routing with the SP303 as an fx unit is this:
Device to EF303 to PX4 to Audio In on the SP303.
I usually dont do any sampling and just use it to route sounds in Realtime.

It's a cool little tool for grabbing other audio sources too.. The sampling time (per pad) is greater than the ES1 and it's super easy to carry around. Perfect if you wanna rape sounds from a dvd too.

I wanna post my pics but thye only place I have them is on my hard drive. Help me out.

You need some Webspace for your Pics! Upload them via FTP and then use the IMG Button, ad the web link to the Pic, use IMG Button again. Do this for all Pics you have uploaded to your Webspace. You can get free Webspace at http://www.fortunecity.com.....
