MPC5000 reviews, bug reports and fellow user support on the most recent standalone, hardware MPC from Akai

First of all excuse me my poor english and my little knowledge about MIDI-related matters.
This is my problem:
I have working during years with my MPC1000 mostly as a sequencer hooked to a Roland JV-1010 as sound module.
Now I've just bought a new MPC5000 and I try to load my MPC1000 sequences into the new machine and it seems that doesn't work the bank selection. I've tried even loading the project file and the ips file.
I mean that the JV-1010 doesn't recognize the MSB and LSB bytes that selects a Patch for each MIDI channel.
Any sugestions?
Thaks in advance,
Joe.

hi Joe, there are a few settings in mpc5k that the mpc1k didn't have. it's on page 34 in reference manual v2.00:
go to the track that is suppose to send out the midi prog. change: place cursor on program No. in that track and push window button.
Is prog. change on?
Is transmit prog.change on?
Is Bank select on?
it's sometimes easier to download manuals in pdf format, and use the search tool when you open the document in a computer.

Yes Jocks, all those parameters are setted as you point.
I'm thinking that the problem is in the MIDI transmitting time or something like this because the JV1010 is an old machine (but I really don't know).
Nevertheless thanks a lor for your reply.
Joe.
