I need some advice, what should I do?

Well the pads on my mpc3k won't play internal sounds anymore, for some reason. They will play the sounds I trigger from my rack sampler, but not internal sounds. IDK but I'm guessing it's a problem with the OS, I have the 3.03 OS, and I've heard that some of the old operating systems malfuction and I was wondering about installing a new OS chip but I don't know if I am wasting my money getting a new OS, for a a problem that could be something else?

Re init your system parameters ( all parameter data ) back to default via the other menu.
